Robert B. Miller has been a general property adjuster, estimator and loss consultant for M. Miller & Son since 1988. He has prepared and adjusted thousands of property claims caused by fire, water, windstorm, vandalism, flood, collapse and other covered perils to private and multi-family dwelling properties, condominium and co-op buildings, and hospitality and commercial properties. Robert provides professional and personal adjustment of property claims for the insured (property owner), exclusively; he is responsible for the procurement of new clientele; estimates damages and prepares building claim details for residential and commercial properties; prepares inventories of damaged contents, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties; prepares and adjusts income loss claims for various commercial losses. Robert has adjusted and settled catastrophe claims in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Georges from 1998-2000; New Orleans and Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina in 2005; New Jersey and New York after Hurricanes Floyd in 1999, Irene in 2011, and Sandy in 2012. Robert has been appointed as an appraiser for numerous claims to resolve disputes and differences between the insured and the carrier.
He brings 30 years of construction experience to the company. Robert’s background includes working as a construction supervisor and foreman on two residential subdivisions for a notable NJ developer; General Contractor responsible for the rehabilitation of apartment complexes; and a General Contractor responsible for the rehabilitation of fire and water damaged properties in Central and North Jersey. Licensed and bonded in the State of New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Puerto Rico. Member of NAPIA, NJPAA, NYPAA, PIA, NJAA, POA. Robert attended Rutgers University with an emphasis on Civil Engineering.
