MICHAEL A. MILLER

President

Michael A. Miller, president, participated in the family business as a young boy, and officially joined the company in 1983 as an adjuster. He actively participated in adjusting catastrophe claims during Hurricane Andrew in Florida, Hurricanes Luis and Marilyn in the Caribbean, and Hurricane Georges in Puerto Rico. A former officer of NJAPIA, Michael is a licensed public insurance adjuster in the states of New York and New Jersey. At M. Miller & Son, he serves as a general property adjuster and loss consultant, and inventory specialist. Michael is a member of the board of directors for NAPIA, and is an active participant in NAPIA's Continuing Education Program. Michael attended Boston University and The College of Insurance in New York City.

MICHAEL BORGO

Partner / Executive Vice President

Michael Borgo, partner and executive vice president, brings more than 31 years experience to the firm as a licensed public insurance adjuster in New Jersey. Michael is a member of NAPIA and NJAPIA. His duties at M. Miller & Son include work as an inventory authority, designated appraiser, and umpire on various losses. Michael's efforts have been responsible for the settlement of thousands of commercial, residential, and industrial losses. Michael attended Upsala College in New Jersey.

ROBERT B. MILLER

Public Adjuster

Robert B. Miller, public adjuster, joined the family business with a background in construction as a foreman for a builder and developer who specialized in rebuilding fire and water damaged properties. He then acted as a construction supervisor and foreman for the development of a custom home subdivision as well as the rehabilitation of several apartment complexes. Robert was instrumental in the company's participation in adjusting and settling claims during Hurricane Georges in Puerto Rico. He is a licensed public adjuster in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, and is a member of NAPIA and NJAPIA. He is a participant in NAPIA's Continuing Education Program, including national courses and conventions. With M. Miller & Son he serves as a general property adjuster, estimator, and loss consultant. Robert attended Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey.

JEFF SCHWARTZ

Public Adjuster

Jeff’s philosophy is simple, “I treat my clients how I would like to be treated after a loss; with respect, care & sincerity” Specializing in Residential, Commercial & Industrial property losses, Jeff brings over ten years of adjusting experience to M. Miller & Son. His emphasis on personal service and attention to detail gives his clients the piece of mind and comfort level they need after a loss. “Communication is crucial, especially at a difficult time after a property loss.” Jeff states “I want to know what my clients needs are and then make sure to address each & every one of them” By professionally guiding his clients through the claims process, Jeff takes a lot of pride in what he does. “My clients are looking to me for stability, guidance, answers and ultimately results, which I pride myself on”. Jeff graduated with honors from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY with a B.A. in Communications. “It’s all about the end result; I’m not satisfied with an adjustment until the client is satisfied”.
